Today we talk about the Cinta Senese, telling us of our visit to another of our producer friends: Raymond of the Casamonti Farm, in Castellina in Chianti.
We arrived at this beautiful place early in the morning, when the first lights of the day are reflected on the 85 hectares of greenery surrounding the farm, to welcome you to the owner, Raymond, with whom we start to chat right away and start talking to us about how Casamonti was born.
Raymond tells us that the company has been open since the 1950s, and was handed over by his grandfather, a passion that was transmitted from a small age, as he spent three months at Casamonti in the summer each year since Raymond’s father job was always around the world.
